Volunteering opportunities in March

We are looking for Volunteers on a weekly basis on a Tuesday and/or Friday from 09.15 to 14.45.

RNIB has been invited to create a show garden for the RHS at their new venue for 2026

The Festival has to be set up on the Friday , help is needed at the event over the weekend and then to clear away on Sunday afternoon.

Adult volunteers to help provide scouting activities to children aged 6-18 years old, and also run the Group - secretary, helpers, tea makers etc! Anything :-)

Volunteers with experience needed to help in the community garden on Thursday mornings. Tasks include: planting, weeding, watering, growing produce and more.

Drivers must live in Over, Willingham, Longstanton, Swavesey or Northstowe. Medical journeys but some trips to local shops, hairdressers, bank, solicitor etc.

Help create a safe, fun and welcoming Kid’s Park by supporting activities, stewarding, and play areas for children and families.

We have some exciting voluntary Coaching and volunteer positions for a local Registered Charity and local grassroots football club.

This role does not necessarily require the volunteer to be a trustee nor a churchgoer though other roles could be undertaken as a trustee.

Join our friendly front-of-house volunteer team who have responsibility for welcoming visitors, retail and admission sales, and gallery invigilation.

As a Trustee, you will be making monthly decisions on grant applications and ensuring assets are managed & positioned for long-term sustainability and growth.

Our board of trustees meet monthly to ensure our community centre remains aligned to our charity constitution and continues to be successful for its residents

We are looking for two new trustees, one with a legal background and the other ideally with knowledge of local businesses and / or the local community.

We are seeking a volunteer Chief Operating Officer to lead core operations, drive strategic execution, and support the organisation’s growth and impact.

Support the Read Easy Cambridge Team Leader and share the load with them, taking the lead on agreed tasks.

Meet and enrol adults who want to learn to read and pair up Readers and Coaches. Provide ongoing support, including visiting sessions and problem solving.

Take responsibility for ensuring our group raises the funds it needs through grants and donations.
