As a warehouse operative you will work as part of a friendly volunteering team to ensure our shops always have enough product to sell.
Where is this role based:
- Our distribution centre, Godmanchester
The role involves the following
- Some heavy lifting
- Accompanying our delivery drivers on collections and pick up’s as a driver’s mate
- Sorting incoming donations
- Sending textile for re-cycling
- Product research
- Preparing shop stock packages
- Unloaded/loading distribution vehicles
Desirable Attributes
- Computer literate
- Reasonable level of fitness
- Good written and spoken English
Essential Attributes
- Over 18 years old
- Be able to supply 2 referees
- Not a family member or partner
- Not a current Woodgreen Staff or Volunteer member
- Known for over 12 months
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive and friendly manner
- Able to work as a part of a team as well as on your own

How many hours per week would I be required to volunteer?
We work around you!! You have been kind enough to give up your free time, so all voluntary hours are negotiable. Our distribution centre operates Mon-Fri 7am – 3pm.
