Summary

We need volunteer drivers to support visually impaired members getting to activities. Just a few hours a week can reduce isolation and open up someone’s world.

Detailed description

We have monthly groups in Ramsey, St Ives, Huntingdon and St Neots, as well as weekly groups in Huntingdon.

You can choose the locations you are able to drive to, and the days that work for you.

We pay 45p per mile, to cover your expenses and provide sighted guide training.

All our drivers will need to undergo a DBS check.

A few hours of your time can mean the difference between our members staying at home, and getting out to meet friends, learn new skills, and feel part of the world.

What we will provide to volunteers
