About Dementia Carer Support Service

The Dementia Carer Support Service (DCSS) is a service supported by Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust staff and volunteers who aim to support people within the community of Cambridgeshire who care for their loved ones with Dementia. Through the journey of life, many of us find ourselves caring for a parent, partner or family member who has dementia. Volunteers within DCSS often offer their time to help other people through a similar journey they have too experienced or if not experienced offer a compassionate listening ear. Whether you would like to become a volunteer with the DCSS to develop new skills or to give something back to your local community, you can support us and make a real difference to dementia carers’ lives.
