About Clay Farm Community Garden

We are a group of local people getting together to develop, manage and maintain a community garden, at Clay Farm, Trumpington, which is located on Hobson Avenue. We also work with and involve other local growing groups.

We have raised beds, wide paths, lawns, a small greenhouse connected to the garden building, a pond, lush borders with a wide variety of plants and a large vegetable patch, which most of the harvested produced is donated to Trumpington Food Hub, and also a community feasting table which was funded and installed during Summer 2024.

The garden building has a fully functioning meeting room which we use for garden related meetings and activities, such as the AGM. There is an accessible toilet in the building when the building is open.

We also host Thursday Garden Parties during the warmer months each year, which gives the community the chance to meet, sit out in the garden and enjoy a picnic or food from guest food trucks. Plus, we have other events and activities taking place throughout the year.
