We are looking for a volunteer Trustee to join our Board, especially with accounting or finance skills.

The Cambridge Royal Albert Homes are a Charity that has provided housing for older persons of modest means since 1859.

We need additional Trustees to join our Board, especially with accounting or finance skills.

We need additional Trustees to join a Board that gives strategic direction, sets overall policy, ensures our Charity’s effective and efficient administration, and is working to make our accommodation and facilities more appropriate to the 21st Century while preserving our lovely Victorian buildings.

We are especially keen to hear from volunteers with accounting or finance skills. You may have retired from a professional career. Or you may still be working and your employer provides paid time off for volunteering.

You can expect to give between 15 and 20 days input each year, attending Board and committee meetings, shaping strategy and supporting operations.

If you can work effectively as a member of a team, think and apply knowledge strategically, exercise sound, independent judgement and have some time you can devote to helping others, then we would love to talk to you.
