We’re looking for volunteers to support a weekly Code Club for 7–11 year olds at Brown’s Field Community Centre in Chesterton.

We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to support a Code Club for 7–11 year olds at Brown’s Field Community Centre in Chesterton. The club will launch in September and run every Tuesday from 4:30–5:30pm.

You don’t need to commit every week—just a few hours a month would make a real difference. No teaching experience is required; we’re simply looking for people who are happy to encourage children, support their learning, and share an interest in coding or digital skills.

The club is delivered in partnership with the Raspberry Pi Foundation and Cambridge City Council, with a well-structured programme and full safeguarding training provided.

It’s a rewarding opportunity to build confidence, inspire curiosity in younger learners, and contribute to something positive in your local community.
