Join us on a community litter pick in Abbey to help keep the local area clean and stop litter from entering our local chalk stream, Coldham's Brook.Detailed description
So far this year Abbey RiverCare volunteers have collected more than 30 bags of litter - can you help us collect more?
Meet us at 9:30am at Abbey Pool, CB5 8NT on Wednesday 25th September.
Everyone is welcome at this litter pick! All equipment will be provided, and there will be 'Nature and Litter Loot' activity sheets for what litter children might find. This event is open to adults and children of all ages, all children must be accompanied by an adult.
What do you need to bring?
- Water bottle
- Dress appropriately for the weather and wear closed toe shoes like walking boots or trainers
- A hat if it's sunny
