Experience volunteering in the great outdoors!

Written by

Cambridge Past, Present & Future

In a woodland, four people are standing next to a pile of logs, the two people to the right are wearing yellow hard hats and are hitting wooden steaks into the ground. The two people on the right are moving wood. A green tractor can be seen in the background.

In this video we hear from volunteers, Alistair and Tom at a Cambridge Past, Present & Future Volunteer Party in Wandlebury Woods.

The more the merrier at this volunteer event where everyone enjoys being outside and helping the wardens - whatever the weather!

The volunteer team have a great time and work well together as they chop and collect wood to build a natural dead hedge.

Alistair and Tom share their volunteer stories and Warden, Jess shares details on how to join them at events like this!
