Written by

Arthur Rank Hospice Charity

Duncan holding his volunteer award certificate. Duncan in smiling and wearing a grey jumper. He has grey hair and a short beard. We see a plant behind him.

Duncan has volunteered 7 years with Arthur Rank Hospice Charity as a Driver and more recently has joined their caring communities scheme too.

In this video, Duncan shares more about his volunteering work.

He is interviewed by Voluntary Services Manager, Hannah Touhey.

Duncan and another wonderful volunteer, Edwin, who has also been a Driver for 7 years, received certificates of commendation through the Hunts Forum 2024 Volunteer Awards, for their voluntary contributions. They were both celebrated at a special event at the charity.

Duncan and Edwin were nominated for the warmth and compassion they bring to their roles, going above and beyond!
