Summary
Help Liberation Cycle grow! We need a Fundraising Trustee to build sustainable income, shape strategy, and help our Cambridgeshire charity hire its first staff.
Detailed description
Are you an experienced fundraiser who enjoys building something meaningful from the ground up?
We are a small, community-focused cycling charity based in Cambridgeshire, and we’re at a pivotal moment in our journey. Our work is making a real difference — now we need to make our income sustainable, strengthen our fundraising strategy, and build the financial foundations that will allow us to employ staff and grow our impact.
We are seeking a Fundraising Trustee to join our Board and help take the charity to the next level.
About the roleAs Fundraising Trustee, you will:
About you.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has hands-on fundraising experience, ideally across multiple income streams
- Has helped a small or early-stage charity grow financially
- Understands what it takes to move towards paid staff and organisational sustainability
- Is strategic, practical, and excited by the challenge of growth
- Shares our belief in the power of cycling to improve lives and communities
Previous trustee experience is welcome but not essential — what matters most is your fundraising expertise and your desire to help a small charity thrive.
Why join us?
- Make a genuine, visible impact on a local charity, and its community
- Help shape the future of an organisation at a crucial stage of development
- Work with a committed, passionate Board and CEO
- Gain meaningful trustee experience while doing something that matters
If you’re excited by the idea of helping a small charity become financially sustainable and ready for its next chapter, we’d love to hear from you.
