Summary

To deliver fire safety information across the County and encourage residents to carry out safety checks on their homes and escape plans.

Detailed description

Our Community Champions volunteer across the County, speaking to local communities about home fire safety and escape plans, as well as referring those people who don't feel confident about completing a check of their own home. You may also be asked to support community events and other community safety activity.

For this voluntary role, we ask for a minimum of 15 hours a year. Of course, you can do more - if you have the time we can certainly keep you busy!

The role requires occasional weekend or evening shifts, but we are flexible and respect that our volunteers have other commitments too – we are grateful of any time you able to give.
