Summary
Support in the office with answering the phone and face to face enquiries. Will need to be reasonably fit as it will require the moving of mobility equipment.Detailed description
Customer facing role that has some physical requirements due to having to move equipment about. Cash handling experience is a must as is a listening ear because we're more than a hire service. Training and support will be given after this you will be required to, on occasions, work in the office on your own and also on occasions need to cover at the last minute so some flexibility is needed.

At Hunts Shopmobility we make a difference every day to someone. We are based in Huntingdon but cover all of Huntingdonshire and hire, at a small charge, manual wheelchairs and mobility scooters so people with restricted mobility can enjoy shopping, socialising, attend appointments and be independent outdoors. Our charity provides a lifeline for our users and reduces the social isolation not just for the elderly but anyone with mobility issues. We would love you to come and join our friendly team and make a difference in your local community, you will gain useful experience and meet new people.
We are looking for volunteers who can spare as little as 2 hours per week (or more if available), we have opportunities available both at our premises in Princes Street Car Park, Huntingdon and home-based roles. We look forward to hearing from you?
