Please join us at Wysing for a day of planting native bulbs around our 11 acre site. We will provide a free tour of Wysing and refreshments.
We would love to welcome you to Wysing to help us plant native bulbs around our site. You can come for one hour or all day - whatever time you are happy to gift.
Arrival - 10am
Finish - 4pm (or before)
Refreshments available - tea/coffee/biscuits
Lunch - bring your own
Toilets and rest places - we have 4 toilets and lots of places indoors and outdoors to take a rest
Terrain - we will be planting in our meadow and woodland across our 11 acre site some of which is uneven, but relatively flat
Access - Our site and toilets are fully accessible and we welcome those in wheelchairs
What to wear - sturdy shoes, gardening gloves, waterproof if raining
Tools - Bring your own trowel or bulb planter if you have one, otherwise Wysing will provide you with what you need.
Experience - you don't need any experience to take part in this volunteering opportunity, just an ability to work low to the ground.
Celebrating Spring in 2027 - you will be invited back to Wysing to see the fruits of your labour in Spring 2027
