We are looking for Volunteers on a weekly basis on a Tuesday and/or Friday from 09.15 to 14.45.
Do you enjoy the company of the older generation and/or have experience of working with people who live with dementia?
Would you like to be part of a small friendly team in a rewarding role?
Do you like having fun?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions then you could be the person we are looking for to brighten the day of our clients and give their carers respite whilst their family member is with us.
Duties include helping set up the room at the beginning of the day, welcoming and talking to clients, making and serving hot drinks and toast, helping staff with daily activities, serving lunch, ensuring clients leave the building safely at home time and clearing away at the end of the day.
A 2 course cooked meal is provided at lunchtime free of charge.
