Summary
Your role is helping those unable to tend to their gardens. The gardening ranges from cutting grass to chopping your way through brambles. East Cambs only.
Detailed description
We have 7 volunteers who assist us to carry out gardening works for those unable to to their gardens themselves. They come from a range of backgrounds and age groups.
Our volunteers say they find the work rewarding as they are helping others less fortunate than themselves and you can see the difference you are making.
The work ranges from complete garden clearance (where you have to fight your way into the garden through brambles), to regular grass cutting etc.
The work is in East Cambs Mondays through to Thursdays only. You need to be able to meet at our offices in Ely at 8.45am.
