Responsible for managing finances Collecting members' & entry fees at meetings Banking & making payments. Keep accounts. Share account income with committee.
We are looking for a treasurer who is enthusiastic about the aims of the Society. The March Society has monthly meetings for members and visitors. There is an annual membership and an entrance fee to meetings which pays for room hire, insurance, website and running costs. Accounts are kept and audited annually.

The March Society is March's civic society involved in conserving and promoting all that is best in March and district. We continue in protecting the heritage of March both the natural and built environment. We are a member of Civic Voice: 'We make places more attractive, enjoyable and distinctive. We promote civic pride.' We have monthly speakers on local topics concerned with the past present and future of March. Everyone is welcome.
