Serve, clear and tidy at our Thursday Lunch Club, which provides company and community for vulnerable adults.

Lunch is served weekly on Thursdays at 12.30pm. Our Thursday Group is a diverse group of adults particularly welcoming of people with disabilities and mental health challenges. The group meets at 11am for social activities, followed by lunch, and goes on monthly outings.

As Kitchen Assistant you will arrive at 12pm to assist with the final stages of set up and food preparation. During lunch, you will serve each course to the tables and clear away again, and afterwards you will clean and tidy the kitchen. You will be finished at 2pm.

Between serving, you are more than welcome to sit and eat, and socialise with those attending the meal.

Members of our Thursday lunch club include adults with a range of vulnerabilities, including physical or learning disabilities, mental health challenges, and dementia.

For many guests, this is a core part of their weekly routine and they really value the lunch clubs as a reason to get out the house and meet people. It's about far more than the food.
