The Special Events Team is a new initiative required for additional support as our events calendar changes each year and while we do have a strong, friendly, dependable team for regular events and services we need an additional group for special one off events. We do not hold these special events every weekend.
Generally, the Special Events Volunteers will be required to help set up and break down events on the days before and after they take place.
Volunteers are also needed to help on the days of events with such tasks as stewarding and welcoming visitors, serving teas and coffees, tidying up and keeping an eye on the building and contents while we are open and sometimes giving a mini tour to tourist viewing the stained glass windows.
