Summary

Support our Treasurer and CEO to enhance financial systems, including Xero. Streamline accounting, forecasting, and simplify accounts prep.

Detailed description

With a team of 5 trustees, including a Treasurer, we have implemented Xero, project tracking for grants and set up our accounts with an Independent Examiner.


Why your support is needed:

To assess current financial processes; develop and implement automated accounting systems; to ensure compliance with UK charity accounting standards; design tools to accurately forecast income from grants, fundraising activities, and other sources; assist in creating budgets that reflect objectives and financial commitments; Annual Accounts Preparation; Streamline process for annual statements.

Tell us about the resources you are requesting for this project

  • Digital devices
  • You just need a laptop, Mac or PC and access to GoogleDrive. We can give access and training on this if required. We can add you to our Xero account.
  • Business or other office based skills
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles.
  • Experience with accounting software (Xero) and automation tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


Will people working on the project need any specialist skills or specific qualities?

Yes -

• Strong understanding of financial management principles.

No - virtually, although meeting in person for occasional support would help.
