Summary
We are seeking Trustees to join our Board. With no paid staff, our trustees are hands supporting our Strategic Ambitions, published on on our website.
Detailed description
As we have no paid staff, our Trustees are very active in many areas such as communications, research, fundraising, networking and organising learning opportunities for our partners. We work to inform the public and raise awareness of the true nature of homelessness. We assist the City Council with strategic planning related to those experiencing homelessness, plus much more.
Whilst we are not a direct delivery organisation to our clients themselves, our aim is to maximise the effectiveness and the collaboration between our partner organisations to the benefit of their clients. We arrange a quarterly partnership event in person with our Partners to help strengthen relationships and develop effective plans.
During the last year, we have refreshed our Vision, Mission and Strategic Ambitions, which can be found in the 'About Us' section of our website: www.saferoffthestreets.co.uk
We are seeking a trustee to act as our Company Secretary, assisting with Board meeting agendas and minutes, along with submitting returns to the Charity Commission and keeping us appraised of Charity Commission assistance available.
We are seeking additional trustees to assist with IT management and security along with project and workshop facilitation, research and fundraising leadership. In short, our trustees need to be able to 'make good stuff happen'.
