Can you offer 2-4 hours one day a week? Be part of restarting our trolley round. You will bring a welcome relief to longer term patients with great conversation
Do you have a friendly personality and enjoy working in retail?
Become a Retail Volunteer in one of our hospital shops, cafés or trolley services and help make the experience brighter for patients and visitors.
We need Retail Trolley Volunteers to take a trolley of items like newspapers, food, drink and hygiene products to patients, visitors and staff around the hospital.
Being in hospital, or visiting someone in hospital, can be a difficult time, especially if you can't leave the wards, you'll offer a friendly and compassionate face for customers.
For this, you'll need a friendly, compassionate personality, as well as good communication and listening skills. If you want to make new friends, and grow your skills and experience in a hospital and retail environment, this is a great opportunity for you.
