Maintenance Volunteer

As a member of the maintenance team, you will receive a list of agreed tasks, each with a clear timeframe for completion. You will only be asked to perform duties matching your current skills or those learnt on site, with plenty of opportunities to expand your knowledge through training if desired. Tasks include painting, carpentry, general DIY jobs around the museum, assisting with new projects, and preparing the site for open days and other events. The role involves some heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions, but comprehensive health and safety training will ensure your wellbeing. Please note, electrical work is not included in this role.
