We have been chosen as the Pets at Home Foundation Community Charity Partner of the Year for the Huntingdon store & are looking for people who could support us.

We are looking for volunteers to support our fundraising efforts throughout 2026 and beyond.

This is an exciting time for the branch as we look to expand our fundraising activities.

We have been chosen as the Pets at Home Foundation Community Charity Partner of the Year for the Huntingdon store, which is an exciting opportunity for us & are looking for people who may be able to help to support this activity.

If you live in Huntingdon or the surrounding area, you may be just the right person to support us with our in-store activities.

The activities would involve looking after a stall and promoting the Branch and the work we carry out in the area.

Commitment:

We would be looking for people who would commit to a few hours a month to attend the store - we can be flexible with this, but it would be a regular commitment each month if possible. We can discuss this further with you if you are interested.

Who are we looking for:

  • Someone who would feel confident and be happy to engage with and speak to the public
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
  • Willingness to follow health and safety guidance
  • A positive attitude and commitment to supporting the charity

Training: All relevant training, guidance and support will be provided for this role.

If you are interested in this role and supporting the Branch at Pets at Home, please do get in contact with the Branch.

Please note :  this opportunity is based in the Pets at Home Store on St Peters Road in Huntingdon, so you would need to be able to travel and make your own way to the store site.
