This is an exciting time for the branch as we look to expand our fundraising activities and are looking for volunteers to support our Branch events.
We are looking for volunteers to support our fundraising efforts throughout 2026 and beyond.
We have been chosen as the Pets at Home Foundation Community Charity Partner of the Year for the Huntingdon store.
If you live in that area, you may be just the right person to support us with our in-store activities.
We are also looking to run fun days (these are likely to be in the PE15 9JJ area), jumble sales, kilo sales, afternoon tea's (if you can bake too, that is always a bonus) and lots of other events throughout the year.
We are asking that you volunteer for us for at least two to four hours at any event. If you can do more hours, that would be great, especially for the full day events.
Other responsibilities/activities may include (depending on how you would like to help)
- Behind the scenes organisation (such as making cakes, organising donations for stalls, or general admin support)
- Front line activities such as running tombola, supporting sales at boot fairs or table top sales
There is also the opportunity to support our shop in March with new and interesting fundraising ideas that could be held on site
For those with a more technical background, support with our online sales promotions and promoting events online would be helpful
If you love organising, we will also need a volunteer to help our staff co-ordinate the volunteers for these events. Just let us know when you apply if that is something you might be interested in supporting us with.
No experience is necessary as all training will be given for this role.
If you are interested in this role, please contact the Branch or do pop into the shop in March High street and they will be able to help you as well.....

About RSPCA Cambridgeshire Mid East
The RSPCA Cambridgeshire Mid-East Branch CIO is a separately registered charity although we are supported by and work in partnership with the RSPCA National Society. We are primarily self-funding , particulary rasiing money in our local charity shop in March and using our online shops with ebay and Vinted.
