Summary

Help with sorting Workwear, textiles for sale or creative reuse. Cleaning, repairing or altering garment, measuring and making.

Detailed description

Our aim is to ensure textiles and garments do not end up in landfill. We do this by preparing them for reuse. This includes:

Garment or logo deconstructing, unpicking garments, removing logos, sewing pockets

Merchandising, price labelling, sorting, picking, packing and tidying up.

We have a dedicated Textile department called The Hive, because we want it to be full of busy bees saving textiles.

About REMO

We’re REMO, a social enterprise and charity that believes accessing home essentials and creative opportunities doesn’t need to cost the earth. For over 20 years, we’ve been on the frontline of rescuing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling materials to create sustainable, useful and creative products and services. With help from our community members and resellers, we’ve already diverted a a million litres of paint and hundreds of tonnes of furniture, food and creative materials from landfill.
