Summary
The Volunteer Community Champion will work with the local Community Manager and team sharing information about POhWER within the local community.Detailed description
We are especially interested in volunteers who have lived experience of using advocacy services, and/or of health and social care although this is not a requirement. The community champion will support the development of self-advocacy groups and support service users’ to develop their own self advocacy skills. May also invest their free time to work with paid advocates who offer one to one and small group support to people in their local community. To support to the paid advocates to provide advocacy services offered by POhWER.
