Fundraiser

Main Responsibilities

Essential (core responsibilities):

• Plan and coordinate small community events, online or in-person (e.g. awareness days, workshops, fundraisers).
• Support the creation of fun events
• Research and apply for small grants, community funds, or sponsorship opportunities (templates provided).
• Build relationships with local organisations, venues, and supporters.
• Work with our Directors and social media team to promote events and campaigns.
• Keep basic records of fundraising activities and funds raised.

Nice to have (optional but helpful):

• Experience in event planning, fundraising, or marketing.
• Creative ideas for youth events and campaigns.
• Confidence in communicating with partners, community members, or donors.
• Familiarity with digital tools (e.g. Canva, Eventbrite, or Mailchimp).

Working Style & Support

• Flexible scheduling: You can plan and work around your own energy and availability.
• Remote-friendly: Most tasks can be done online; event attendance is optional.
• Accessible communication: We’ll adapt communication to suit your needs written, visual, voice, or asynchronous.
• Low-pressure approach: We’ll provide guidance, templates, and regular check-ins no “sink or swim”.
• Collaborative environment: You’ll work alongside a small, supportive team.
