Shaun the Sheep- Summer in Peterborough volunteering

Peterborough Cathedral is thrilled to announce the upcoming "Shaun the Sheep- Summer in Peterborough" exhibition, and we're seeking enthusiastic, energetic volunteers to help us bring this extraordinary event to life.

Scheduled to run from July 28th to August 31st, "Shaun the Sheep- Summer in Peterborough" promises to be a captivating, family friendly exhibition with a dynamic series of events running alongside.

Volunteers will play a vital role in ensuring the success of the exhibition by assisting with various tasks, including:

• Greeting visitors and checking tickets.
• Guiding visitors through the exhibition and providing assistance if needed.
• Engaging with visitors during our Farmathalon, hosting one of the farmyard sports events like the Sty-Jump.
• Monitoring the exhibition space to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors.

No previous experience is necessary, but we are looking for energetic and engaging people over the age of 16 who are ready to cheer participants on to create an exciting atmosphere! Volunteers will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience, meet new people, and contribute to a unique cultural event right in the heart of Peterborough. There will be two recruitment events where potential volunteers can find out more about what the role entails. More information on these are on our website.

Volunteers will receive training and support from Cathedral staff and will have flexible scheduling options to accommodate their availability.
