Reports To: Sectional Leader
Responsible For: A particular team
The primary purpose of the Team Manager is to ensure that the club provides a team to compete in district youth league and cup competitions. The manager is responsible for all aspects of activity regarding their assigned age group. The manager is permitted to engage assistants, provided they meet the membership requirements of the club.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team selection.
- Organization of coaching and training sessions at the club (once a week).
- Management of team kit and equipment.
- Reporting results to the FA.
- Attending club team managers' meetings.
Time Commitment:
- Match Days: Approximately 2-3 Hours
- Coaching & Training Sessions: Approximately one hour each week.
- Other Duties: telephone calls and other administrative tasks.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Formal football coaching qualification is usually required. In England, this typically means holding a minimum of The FA Club Coach qualification (including a valid first aid award).
- Carry out an Enhanced DBS Check
- Access to telephone calls
- Technology confident.
- Club officials and team managers are always available for any assistance or advice.

- * Access to advice and assistance from other club officials and team managers.
