The Branch Secretary role is important to the running of the branch as they act as a coordinator and communicator for the branchDetailed description
What you will be doing
- Organising and attending our branch committee meetings. These usually take place on the first Wednesday evening of every month, either in person near Cambridge or over zoom.
- Taking and writing committee meeting minutes.
- Liaising with the Branch Chair to monitor and respond to branch email
- Shared responsibility for monitoring and posting to the branch facebook page/group
The skills you need
- Can write clearly and accurately.
- Confident in communicating with individuals or organisations by phone or email.
- Confident in editing information to a suitable format which is clear and concise.
When and where
- Home based (plus travel to branch meetings)
- Flexible time as required to deal with emails
