Summary

The Branch Secretary role is important to the running of the branch as they act as a coordinator and communicator for the branch

Detailed description

What you will be doing

  • Organising and attending our branch committee meetings. These usually take place on the first Wednesday evening of every month, either in person near Cambridge or over zoom.
  • Taking and writing committee meeting minutes.
  • Liaising with the Branch Chair to monitor and respond to branch email
  • Shared responsibility for monitoring and posting to the branch facebook page/group

The skills you need

  • Can write clearly and accurately.
  • Confident in communicating with individuals or organisations by phone or email.
  • Confident in editing information to a suitable format which is clear and concise.

When and where

  • Home based (plus travel to branch meetings)
  • Flexible time as required to deal with emails
