Stewards help monitor and manage crowds, and provide information. They work in pairs for a two hour shift, so still plenty of time to enjoy the fair.
The Mill Road Winter Fair brings our community together and makes the Mill Road area a friendlier and more thriving place to live, work and spend time. The Fair is run completely by volunteers and we need your help to make it safe and accessible for everyone. Volunteer to steward for a two hour shift (ask a friend to do it with you!) and feel part of the Fair. You will be briefed in advance. On Sunday after the Fair, enjoy a thank you drink with the team at a local pub. Please note: stewards must be at least 18 years old.
