The team support adults 18+ in Cambridgeshire by giving information, advice and guidance to improve wellbeing and enable them to access local help.

Befriending is a service that provides companionship and support to people who are lonely or social isolated. It can help people feel less alone, improve their mental and emotional wellbeing and connect with their community You will:-

  • Provide regular companionship through visits (in community venues) or calls
  • Offer empathetic listening and emotional support
  • Encourage social engagement and reduce isolation
  • Follow safeguarding guidelines and report concerns
