HCCN, your local cancer charity, is looking for a trustee with accountancy experience, to oversee the financial health of the charity.
The finance trustee's role is to ensure that the board of trustees has the information they need to make strategic decisions:
- explain the charity's financial position to trustees in layman's terms.
- report on financial performance to trustees at regular intervals, including budgets, accounts, and financial statements.
- bring expertise in using the right financial measures, records, controls and procedures.
- be supported by the Chair of Trustees, other fellow trustees, HCCN’s bookkeeper, and external accountants.
