To continue to provide support for families when they need us the most, we need to raise funds and are looking for Fundraising Volunteers to assist the Home-Start Cambridgeshire fundraising team in activities and events
Main responsibilities:
To become part of the fundraising team of volunteers to plan and carry out fundraising activity.
To help at events raising awareness of the work of Home-Start Cambridgeshire.
To undertake any training necessary for the role.
Home-Start Cambridgeshire is committed to safer recruitment practise as an important part of safeguarding and protecting children and vulnerable adults. Any offer of a voluntary role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check.

who are experiencing a range of challenges including poor mental / physical health,
postnatal depression, bereavement, financial worries, isolation. We work with families to
build on their strengths and give them the support they tell us they need.
We provide support to families via our trained home visiting volunteers. Volunteers
are matched with families and then usually visit once a week for 2 hours.
Volunteers offer no judgement, just compassionate, confidential help and support.
We are parents supporting other parents to be the best they can be, to give children
the best start in life possible.
