The Friends Of March Railway Station volunteers need several willing volunteers to help us move sections of a railway carriage back to March.

The Friends Of March Railway Station volunteers are in the process of dismantling and transporting a Victorian Railway Carriage that has been donated to the Group, in order to restore it for use as a Tea Room, on the old Bay Platforms at March Station.

If you are free this coming Saturday, 20th July 2024 from 9am, please get in touch.

About Friends Of March Railway Station

The group was formed in August 2009 to restore, preserve and use the buildings on the disused side of March Railway Station. We are currently looking for volunteers to help us with our list of current projects, including the restoration of a G.E.R. 1887 Victorian railway carriage that is being relocated onto the old bay platforms to be used as a tea room.
