Previous experience with DBT is welcome but not essential. Full induction, training, and ongoing support will be provided.

Support the day-to-day running of the organisation by helping with emails, registrations, record keeping, meeting coordination, and general administration.

Help identify grant opportunities, assist with funding applications, organise fundraising activities, and support the long-term sustainability of EmoWell.

Marketing & Communications Volunteer

Help raise awareness of EmoWell through social media, newsletters, promotional materials, and community engagement.

About EmoWell: Managing Emotions Together

EmoWell: Managing Emotions Together (MET) is an informal, supportive online group designed for anyone looking to better understand and manage their emotions. Each session focuses on a topic inspired by DBT-informed emotional skills, followed by a space to discuss how these skills relate to real-life situations. Sessions are open-ended, they run weekly, and places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum of 12 people per group.
The group offers a balance of shared learning and open discussion, helping you build confidence, gain practical strategies, and feel supported while exploring your feelings. Sessions are run by volunteers who bring either lived experience or a strong interest in mental health, combined with a genuine desire to help others. EmoWell: MET complements existing mental health support and is a place for those who are ready to practice emotional balance.

*Please note that EmoWell: MET is not a substitute for professional therapy or a solution for those in a mental health crisis.
