Help organise a community event. This entails choosing a venue, doing publicity and making sure everything runs smoothly

We have a number of ideas for events that we would like to put on this year, such as a film screening, multicultural food event and active bystander training. If you don't feel confident leading a project, you could take just one aspect such as publicity or choosing the venue and liaising with them. We have lots of experience in putting on small events so can offer as much help and offer advice as needed.

Leading a project such as planning a community event, will give you hands-on experience in project management, leadership and communication - a great way to build your professional profile.
