Community Appointment Day

The East Cambs Integrated Neighbourhood are holding a Community Appointment Day at Ely Community College on 20^th April for people on the Adult Weight Management waiting lists.

We will have a range of providers for people to talk to, activities for people to try such as Tai Chi, gardening, walking football , health checks, free places for Slimming World and Weightwatcher, cooking on a budget, help to join digital weight loss apps and tools and more!

We are looking for volunteers to help out on the day, for example: preparing teas and coffees, welcoming attendees, directing people to activities, setting up stalls, and other general support.

We are also looking for volunteers to have conversations with attendees about what matters to them most for us to improve health and wellbeing and future events.

All volunteers will be able to attend a briefing session beforehand, and this will be recorded for anyone unable to attend.

The sessions will run from 10am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-4pm. You can volunteer at one or both of these.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided for anyone supporting with the event.
