Summary

We are looking for an individual who could commit a few hours a week to help us increase our unrestricted income through various fundraising activities.

Detailed description

We're looking for someone who could commit to a few hours a week (possibly half a day to one day per week) and be able to work from our office in Huntingdon and from home.

The volunteer fundraiser role will help us to achieve our mission, charitable objectives and financial goals through a range of fundraising and awareness raising activities. You will help to develop and implement a fundraising plan. You will be involved in organizing fundraising activities, applying for small one off grants, seeking donations, raising awareness by assisting with events and helping with related admin.

We need someone who has experience of fundraising and lots of ideas, including online fundraising such as crowd funding and funding through social media.

Enthusiasm and Passion:

You will be passionate about our work and about engaging with our communities. 

Communication Skills:

You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Organizational Skills:

You will have excellent admin skills and be able to manage your time well

Teamwork:

You will enjoy working on your own and as part of our friendly team. You'll enjoy working in a fun but professional environment.

Reliability:

You will be reliable and flexible and committed to helping us achieve our aims.
