Bring your supportive sparkle to our Rainbow Run at Ferry Meadows this September!

Deafblind UK are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support our brand new Rainbow Run taking place at Ferry Meadows on Sunday September 6th.

We need lots of brilliant volunteers to help us on the day in roles such as registration, t-shirts and merchandise desk, route marshals, and colour chuckers. Yes, you can officially make a colourful mess!

Why a rainbow?

The rainbow motif has been with us such the very beginning of Deafblind UK, when Braille Rainbow became the first magazine published specifically for a deafblind audience in 1929. And, in the name of our assisted living apartment complex in Peterborough, Rainbow Court. The rainbow is also a widely recognised symbol of inclusivity across many communities and sections of society.

Your support on the day will help us to support deafblind child and adults across the UK to thrive and lead the lives they want.

Did you know that Deafblind UK offers a wide range of specialist support for young people and their families? This includes parent support groups and an online community for young people to connect, to resources for schools, universities and employers.

Every child deserves the chance to thrive, and every family deserves the support they need. Together, we're building a future where young people feel confident, connected, and empowered.

Simply click on 'apply' and leave your details to get involved with this amazing event!
