Volunteer Role: Admin & Project Support Volunteer
Organisation: Curiously Divergent CIC
Location: Remote (UK-based)
Hours: Flexible – approximately 2–4 hours per week
Reports to: Volunteer Co-ordinator / Director

Role Purpose
The Admin & Project Support Volunteer will play a key role in helping Curiously Divergent run smoothly behind the scenes.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organising information, supporting projects, and creating structure. You’ll help keep our digital systems, records, and communications up to date, making sure we can continue delivering high-quality, inclusive support to our community.
It’s a flexible, low-pressure role perfect for someone who likes detail, order, and contributing in a calm, steady way.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the Director and project leads.
- Help maintain digital records and project plans in ClickUp or Microsoft Loop.
- Organise shared documents, meeting notes, and contact lists.
- Support preparation of newsletters, meeting agendas, and follow-up actions.
- Assist with researching funding opportunities or community partners.
- Track project timelines and help ensure key tasks are completed.
- Contribute to process improvements that make our work more efficient and accessible.
Person Specification
Essential
- Organised, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Confident using basic digital tools (e.g. Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or similar).
- Able to handle confidential information with care and professionalism.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Alignment with Curiously Divergent’s values of inclusion, accessibility, and lived experience leadership.
Desirable
- Experience using project management tools (ClickUp, Trello, Asana, etc.).
- Interest or experience in community projects, inclusion, or education.
- Lived experience of neurodivergence (personal or within family).
