Summary

Keep the Club website clear and up to date with simple monthly content edits. Light commitment, no coding needed.

Detailed description

The role

We’re looking for a Website Content & Updates Lead to keep the Comberton Crusaders website accurate, clear and useful for parents, players and volunteers. It’s a light-touch role, usually 1–2 hours a month, focused on simple content edits rather than technical web development. You’ll make sure team information, policies, key dates, news and forms stay up to date and ensure the site reflects our values as a community club. You’ll work with the Club Secretary and committee to gather information, upload new content in the website editor, and keep everything tidy and easy to navigate.

Impact

Your impact is very real: you’ll help families find the information they need quickly, reduce admin pressures on volunteers, and support the Club’s wider mission to provide a positive, welcoming football environment.

Skills and characteristics

The ideal volunteer will:

  • Be organised, reliable and comfortable using simple website tools
  • Have an eye for clarity and presentation
  • Be confident communicating with different volunteers
  • Be willing to learn how the website editor works (no coding needed)
