We are looking for people who can undertake simple repairs to household items during the session on Sat 15th June 10am to 1pm
The focus of the event is on reducing waste, saving money and getting the community together - so there will be lots of tea and cake. We would love to hear from anyone who can offer to help with repairs or any other kind of support. We are looking for people who can undertake simple repairs; these might be to electrical items such as lamps or hoovers or to jewelry or clothing or to other household or garden items. We will sort out the PAT testing and insurance and have booked the Cambridge Carbon Footprint tool kit. Once the forum has confirmed the repairs we can offer we will advertise the event to the public and ensure any repairer gets advanced notice of repairs so they can decide what is suitable and if the person with the item needs to bring any spare parts with them.
