The Festival has to be set up on the Friday , help is needed at the event over the weekend and then to clear away on Sunday afternoon.
Help is needed on the Friday to turn the site from an empty field to a hive of activity. On the Saturday helpers are needed to accompany the walking parade, move around equipment (if physically fit), direct visitors to activities, answer questions, etc. On the Sunday the children's sports, colour fun run and tug of war competition all need assistance and it is then a case of helping to clear the field when the visitors have left.
Helpers will gain experience in running an event and have the satisfaction of helping others. Refreshments will be provided.
