Provide organisational and practical support, promoting awareness of services, volunteering and fund raising opportunities at community events.
This role is supporting one off events within the local community and does not require a regular commitment.
Engaging with members of the public and sharing information about our services, donation, fundraising and volunteering opportunities can include but not limited to:
- Stall set up/take down, monitoring or providing event support e.g. handing out water, supervising activities.
- Being first point of contact for in-person events.
- Providing leaflets and imparting information verbally about Care Network services, and fundraising opportunities.
- Support Volunteer recruitment by sharing volunteer experience.
- Flexibility to work as part of a team, take direction and be able to work independently and proactively.
- Feeding back to your coordinator details of any information given and passing on more complex enquiries.
