We would like to welcome volunteers who will help to enhance our gardens for the benefit of staff and visitors at the Princess of Wales Hospital in Ely.

As a Volunteer Gardener, you will help the Site Area Manager to maintain our outdoor spaces, volunteering alongside other volunteers where possible.

Your duties could include:

Maintaining the staff garden and planters at the hospital entrances.

Tending to the rose bushes in our RAF memorial garden.

General gardening duties such as weeding, pruning, planting and watering.

Maintaining outdoor spaces by litter picking, sweeping and cleaning outdoor furniture.

This role would suit someone who has an interest in gardening and can use their gardening knowledge to improve and develop our outdoor spaces.

Volunteers need to be aged 18 years and over for this role.

To read about how we welcome and involve volunteers, please visit the Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust website and click on the Volunteering link in the About CCS section.
