Help us to keep Cambridge Talking News reaching the people who rely on it. We’re looking for a friendly and reliable volunteer to join our team of Post Sorters
Each week, Cambridge Talking News is sent to listeners as a recorded local news service. Each listener receives a reusable wallet containing a USB stick with the recordings.
Returned wallets need to be opened, address labels filed and the wallets prepared for the next edition.
It’s a straightforward but important role behind the scenes, helping make sure the service continues to run smoothly.
We already have three Post Sorters and are looking for another volunteer to join the team. If you enjoy practical, organised tasks and would like to make a contribution to this valuable local service, we’d love to hear from you.
The post-sorting work takes place at our offices in Chesterton on Tuesday afternoons 3 - 4.30 pm
