Summary
Treasurer role- volunteerCambridge Rugby is going through a really exciting period and we are looking for a Treasurer/Finance Director for the club
Detailed description
Cambridge Rugby is going through a really exciting period, having been promoted to the Championship. The club finances obviously are key to this. Whilst the role title is Hon Treasurer, it feels like a Finance Director role with financial oversight of a now long established finance working party which has made more and more progress, and the role has become much more strategic- and many responsibilities can now be handled by the Chief Operating Officer, supported by the working party and Price Bailey, our accountants.
The role is now more about oversight, accountability and reporting to the board than previously, and is described below.
PS- It might well suit an aspiring (or even current!) Finance Director who is looking to gain some experience in this unique sector.
