We are looking for a Secretary to join our team & help shape the future of one of Britain's oldest & most distinguished music societies, Cambridge Philharmonic.

Cambridge Philharmonic is looking for two enthusiastic volunteers (from inside or outside our current membership) to join our team and help shape the future of one of Britain’s oldest and most distinguished music societies.

We are seeking a Secretary and an Operations Coordinator to support the running of our organisation, working alongside a dedicated group of trustees, committee members, musicians and contractors. Both roles offer a fantastic opportunity to contribute your skills to a vibrant arts community in Cambridge, and to play a meaningful part in bringing great music to audiences across the region.

Secretary (approx. up to 7 hours per month) The Secretary plays a vital governance role, managing trustee and general meetings, ensuring compliance with Charity Commission requirements, and supporting communications across the organisation. This is a trustee position and carries the legal responsibilities of that role.

Full job descriptions, including person specifications for both roles and how to apply, are available on our website.
